Critical Perspective Paper

1. How do you feel this paper turned out? It's okay. I think it will make more sense once it fits with the real paper. It could be better, but I think it will be once I have everything together in a better perspective (no pun intended).

2. How will the critical perspectives you selected allow you to talk about your artifact? the critical perspective I chose was the feminist perspective, although I am going to tweek the method a little. This perspective will allow me to look at how gender and gender roles are constructed through Desperate Housewives. I think this method is best.

3. How were the articles you read using this perspective or one similar to it helpful to you? The articles I read that were similar to this perspective were helpful to me, because they showed me different ways of looking at gender roles, which is what I will be discussing in my paper.

4. Do you feel like there is something that you should have included or described in more detail? There is always something that should also be included, you can never get everything. I think I could maybe have included more sources as examples, but I am not really sure how it would have played out in my final paper, so I wasn't sure on what the purpose of that was. These were the best sources I could find, and I think its better to have good ones, as opposed to just a lot of them.

5. What are the three biggest strengths of this essay? I have a clear outline of what I will be looking at and how I will be looking at them.

6. What do you think are two of its weaknesses? There could be more resources guiding this.

7. What would you like your reviewers to focus on? Does this make sense? Should I add different perspectives to this?
